Went to see Back to the Future musical here. Show was excellent. The venue was great. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Drinks are served which is nice. A little pricey but that's NYC for you. The drinks seemed a little weak and we ordered doubles. Did come with a souvenir cup and refill was discounted $5 off each refill which was also nice. Bathrooms get very crowded during intermission in both men's and women's, so I'd suggest making sure your prepared to hopefully avoid those lines. They did move fairly quick though. I would definitely go back.

I saw Back to the Future here and it was so good! The theater also was spacious and less steep compared to some other Broadway seating set ups.

We watched Back to the Future here. Great, fun musical capturing the comedy of the original movie. Well worth a visit if you are ever lost for what to watch on Broadway. No photos of the live performance permitted, so just a quick snap, prior to the start, of the screen they used to add special effects to the performance. It worked very well!

Amazing theatre. Just had the opportunity to experience Back to The Future and we all had a great time. Seats were nice with plenty of knee space. Audio for this production was clear and crisp, though a few times the music would become louder than the singers. Already looking forward to coming back for another show!

Such a fantastic experience. I wanted to surprise my girlfriend and figured since she loves theater and I myself enjoy a good Broadway show that going to see a show would be the perfect date. I bought tickets to go see Back To The Future The Musical, and while the show was absolutely fantastic I couldn’t help but to notice how wonderful the actual theatre holding the performance was. From the amazing atmosphere to the friendly staff, I was blown away from the experience and pleasure I had gotten from visiting this establishment.First off as the theatre is located in a very convenient location, we took maybe a 10 minute Uber from our hotel located in Hell’s Kitchen. All around the theatre were other restaurants and activities to do which for me is a massive plus.Secondly after we made it through security and first took our steps into the main atrium we both had felt as if we had stepped into a classy and luxurious space. I myself felt as though every penny I had spent on the show itself was worth it. From the beautiful moldings to the wonderful layout of the theatre, every aspect felt as though we were being treated as special guests. The staff there as well were incredibly friendly. So friendly in fact that during intermission of the show we both wound up striking a conversation with one of the gentlemen behind the concessions stand for about 15 minutes. The theatre all in all was perfect and we enjoyed every second being there. We will absolutely be attending the Winter Garden Theatre again and I personally cannot wait.

What a wonderful theater. There is actually no bad seat in the whole place!! Feel confident in picking ANYONE. We saw Back To The Future and was mesmerized. The special effects and quality of sound blew us away. The 3D elements wowed as well. Pricing was affordable, and the location is right in the heart of Times Square. Parking, restaurants and shops are everywhere and close. I am looking forward to seeing the musical again and many more that are hosted here.

We bought our tickets direct from the theatre yesterday and saved on the fees that online booking agencies charged. Don’t be fooled into thinking you can’t get last minute tickets because you certainly can. The ticket seller was very helpful in assisting us to purchase great seats 10 rows from the front of the stage.Back to the Future was absolutely terrific fun and the cast were all amazing. The staging and special effects were very impressive and nothing like I’ve ever seen before. This show sets a new standard in live theatre. Loved it! orchestra were

I know this is supposed to be a review of the theater itself, but it's hard to separate the experience of the musical I saw from the building itself! The theater is beautiful inside and the staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to getting our tickets scanned and directed to our seats. They were also good about making sure phones were off and calling out when the show was about to begin or return from intermission. The drinks were incredibly overpriced, but I suppose that's to be expected.I saw Back to the Future: The Musical and it was amazing - I am very happy with my decision to see this as my first Broadway musical! Overall, very happy with my experience and I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Great theater, probably the one I've been to the most. Music Man, Beetlejuice, and Back to the Future.Great layout and seats are comfortable. I've never been in the mezzanine though. Staff is always friendly and often excited for the show that they have seen hundreds of times. I won't review the show here, since I've seen a few in this theater.

Really loved back to the future at winter garden. The theatre gives an old world vibe and I felt I was transported back in time. The production of back to the future was great. We had third row seats and were close to the action. The acoustics are great. Seats can be a bit small for large people.

With bestie down for the ride we headed into the city, We grabbed some food and drinks prior to showtime but we were still early. Beautiful and charming theatre. It's a nice size; not too big. I sat in orchastra D, and the view was wonderful. It seemed as though most seats throughout the theatre also had great views. The seats are also very comfortable compared to others. Not sure if there is a difference in bathroom availability compared to other theatres, however, I've never seen a men's bathroom line get as long as I did the night I was there, and I've been to many theatres and observed many intermissions. The woman's was just as long.As for the shaw- back to the future was great. So entertaining and fun. Highly recommend the theatre and the showLooking forward to visiting again

Beautiful theater, fantastic show. The theater personnel are very polite and friendly. The venue is clean and well maintained. We saw Back to the Future and it is fantastic. The cast is excellent. Their portrayal of the characters is amazing. As a Back to the Future movie fan, I would say they are exactly what you'd expect to see.The car is like nothing you ever seen before. It is truly part of the cast. It talks, lights up, blows smoke, and even flies. The special effects far exceeded my expectations. As a live theater fan, I couldn't believe how amazing this show is. I think it will remain on Broadway for many years. If you're an avid theater fan this is one you won't want to miss and if you have never been to a live show before this would be a great first theater experience.Bravo to the creators, producer, director, cast, orchestra, choreographer, set designers, costume designers, stage crew, sound crew, lighting crew, and all the other people behind the scenes that make this show great.Thank You Winter Garden Theater for hosting this wonderful show."Spoiler alert don't read below if you don't want to know what happens"You will be amazed at what the car can do. Imagine a car lifting off the stage the wheels fold under it before it flies from the stage to above the audience while hovering there it turns upside down with Doc and Marty waving at you, once it returns up rite it spins around 180 degrees then flies into the stage and disappears. You don't need to imagine it. Go see this show and it will happen right before your eyes.

I went to see 'Back to the Future: The Musical' at this Broadway theater, and it was amazing. The play exceeded my expectations with awesome music, cool staging, and lighting. The theater's location is quintessentially Broadway. The restrooms were unisex, and I didn't wait long to use them. The usher was helpful in finding our seats. Everyone really enjoyed the show. There was even a guide dog near us, and it was very well-behaved.

This theater is small but charming and very clean. The women's bathrooms are small, and I don't think there are many, but it's NYC!! My seat was in the Orchestra section, and the slope of the floor is relatively acceptable. Perhaps if someone too tall had sat in the seat in front of me, they might have had difficulties appreciating the stage.I have to mention that I went to see the musical 'Back to the Future,' and I highly recommend it. It's fun, funny, the actors are incredible in their roles, and the stage effects and lights are spectacular. I loved how the lights cascaded onto the DeLorean, a visual delight to the point that now I would support going into debt with my husband to buy one for ourselves. In summary... Go see this show! If you're a fan of the movie, you'll love every moment

We saw Back to the Future the musical. This is a great adaptation of the movie and has some very cool practical special effects. There were a couple tweaks to minor story points to make them a bit lighter and made more sense for a stage production. Our matinee show had a lot of the understudies performing but they were absolutely outstanding and full of energy. If you like the movie, go see this show.

Really nice theater. I went for the Back to the Future musical, which everyone loved. It's not cheap, an orchestra section ticket will run you average 170, I sat in row Q and some dude with a huge head sat in front of me and I had to constantly strain left or right to see around his monster sized head. I think I would recommend sitting in front or that dude if you can afford it. Also, I had one of the signature cocktails, the "outta time", it was two shots of booze for 35 bucks, and taste wise was a little meh. But they give you a sippy souvenir cup to bring back to your seat. Wokeness factor was 2 out of 10 as far as show writing was concerned and there was an obligatory fund raising plea at the end. Please be aware of where your donations will go before donating. Overall highly rated, would do again.

We watched “Back to the Future musical” at Winter Garden Theatre. We had a great time! The show is breath taking, especially for those who love the movie. It is like getting back in time. The theatre itself is comfortable but the bar services are very poor. They kept it close and just opened in the interval, which generate a huge line, not allowing everyone to get a beverage and losing time in line at the same time. Also, the staff working is very impolite and I sow them being very mean with older people not being able to get their place in a faster pace.

The Winter Garden Theatre is an absolute gorgeous Broadway Theatre, located in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City.Built during the 1st decade of the 20th Century by the Shubert Brothers, the Winter Garden Theatre has featured numerous successful Broadway performances, ranging from “Cats” “Beetlejuice” and “Mammi Mia.”In September of 2023, I brought and treated my wife and myself to the Winter Garden Theatre to watch Back To The Future:The Musical to celebrate her birthday!!!The Back To The Future was undisputedly amazing!!! Both my wife and I were dazzled by the stunning artistry, the lighting, the music, sound effect, and the delightful performance of the cast!!! There are not enough adjectives that I can use to describe how breathtaking the show was!!!In addition to loving the show, both my wife and I very much enjoyed the Theatre. A cozy theatre located in the heart of Broadway. It's somewhat smaller size actually works well, allowing for a more intimate experience. This also provides great views regardless of seating.I just saw Back to the Future, and the size was perfect for the show. The close proximity allowed for better engagement, and interaction with the cast. The acoustics and lighting create an even more stimulating show. The staff were friendly and helpful. Concession stands had standard items. The men's bathroom line was long, but moved quickly and the bathrooms were clean. Seating is comfortable enough for all sizes. There is also seating for differently abled individuals provided throughout the theater. If you drive into New York City to the theatre, I highly recommend using their sure (and Telecharge) to find the nearest garage.

We went and saw The Music Man. The theater seems smaller than it is, and that is really a good thing! We had seats on the left orchestra Row E and they were excellent seats. I was a little concerned prior to going, because I'm more of an up close and center seat type of person whether its a Broadway show, concert or sporting event. However, I think this theater is one of those, "there really isn't a bad seat in the house type places."As for The Music Man, Hugh Jackman was excellent and Sutton Foster was fabulous as well. One of my favorite part of show was when Hugh made Sutton break character and start to laugh... he then looks and the crowd and gives a quick wink, like, "got her," then they are right back to the show.My wife is really the "Broadway" person in our family, but even so it was a very enjoyable production and a fun story. I would certainly recommend The Music Man to all Broadway fans and even those who, like me...may have just gone because... well... someone important asked you to go to NYC to see the show. I know the tickets are not cheap, but The Music Man was certainly worth it!

How to Get Your Tickets

So, you’re raring to jump into the DeLorean and experience this musical extravaganza? Here’s the lowdown on snagging those coveted tickets!

First things first, tickets range in price from the more accessible balcony seats starting at $50 to the premium orchestra seats, which can set you back around $250. The key is to choose based on your budget and preferred viewing experience. Remember, there’s no bad seat in a Broadway theater; it’s all about perspective!

For availability, weekdays, especially Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, tend to have a better selection. Weekend shows, as expected, get booked up pretty quickly. So if flexibility is on your side, a mid-week matinee might just be your golden ticket!

Booking methods are aplenty. The official “Back to the Future” musical website is a reliable starting point. Alternatively, popular ticketing platforms like “BroadwayBox” and “TodayTix” offer seamless booking experiences. If you’re feeling adventurous (and looking for a discount!), try your luck at the Broadway ticket lottery, where a limited number of tickets are sold at a fraction of the price a few hours before the show.

Now, for those golden tips:

  • Early Bird Gets the Worm: Book as far in advance as possible. The future is uncertain, but an early booking ensures a great seat!
  • Discount Days: Some platforms offer special discounts on specific days or times. Keep your eyes peeled!
  • Group Bookings: If you’re rolling with a crew, group discounts can be a game-changer. Plus, shared experiences are always more fun!
  • Stage Door: Want a chance to meet the cast post-show? Opt for seats near the stage door. Not only do you get a great view, but you might also snag an autograph or two!
